for everyone
Category:Movies
Genre: Romance
I enjoyed this movie. I really did. However, I think the background storyline of the old people was unnecessary. I never felt any type of connection with them. I know it was probably part of the book, but if they had made the whole movie about the young couple, I would have LOVED it. I liked them a lot better. Until the end, I kept thinking "who cares about these old people reading a book?"

Although I did feel the warm fuzzies throughout the movie, I never cried. If I'm going to watch a chick flick, I need to break out into the ugly cry.

Well, I didn't "love" this movie like so many other people did, but it would not have been the story it is without the old people. It was just ok, dawg.

I don't understand how u can watch this movie and NOT cry. And I agree with everyone else, the movie would not have been the same w/o the old people b/c that was the part that showed just how in love they were until the day they died. I love love love this movie.

Are you SHITTING ME! You didn't cry at the end when they died in each others arms?! What's WRONG with you?! Are you emotionally constipated?! What makes you cry if that doesn't?!?

I loved this movie and it was a major tearjerker for me. I loved the story of them as a couple when they were older to. His devotion to her despite the fact that she didn't know who he was and the fact that she would remember and love him anyway, sigh. The book was a good sappy cry too and there is another installment called the Wedding which is equally poignant. I can't imagine not crying at this movie. You must have tear ducts of steel!

I'm going to have to watch this movie if it's this good. Isn't it by Nicholas Sparks? Another good movie from one of his books is A Walk to Remember.

i hate to even admit this to all of y'all but i found the end of the movie (with the old people) kinda corny... but like i said, without the old people i'd be all about the movie. loved the young couple!
